GBLTC and TIER 3 – Update 15/12/2020
Dear Member / Parent
Sadly as most of you will know by now our part of Essex will be under TIER 3 rules from midnight tonight, Tuesday, so we just wanted to update you on what TIER 3 means for the tennis club.
The good news is that in terms of tennis everything stays the same and continues as planned:-
All 1:1 coaching continues
All Junior Groups / Squads continue
All Adult Groups continue
Monday Doubles @ 10am continues
Tuesday Fixed Fours continue
Wednesday Superdrills @ 10am continues
Wednesday club evenings will continue
Adult club night on 17th will go ahead from 7.30pm
Sunday organised club morning on 20th will go ahead from 10am
Junior Camps will go ahead on 21st and 22nd December
Basically anything that is with a coach or is organised by the club can continue.
All members can still book courts and play either singles or doubles.
Only 1 parent per junior may spectate.
NO OTHER SPECTATORS ARE PERMITTED
Strictly toilet access only in the clubhouse
NO ONE DISPLAYING SYMPTOMS IS PERMITTED
NO ONE WHO HAS BEEN ASKED TO SELF ISOLATE IS PERMITTED
NO ONE AWAITING TEST RESULTS IS PERMITTED
This is obviously not the news that any of us wanted but at least we can still play tennis. All we ask is that EVERYONE observes the HANDS, FACE and SPACE rules that the club has in place so that we can keep each other safe.
